Zachary Reese (8-2, 2-2 UFC) vs. Dusko Todorovic (12-5, 3-5 UFC)

If nothing else, Reese should keep bringing the excitement. Large for the middleweight division, Reese came to the UFC as a fighter who hunted for the finish and figured out the rest later, as all of his fights ended within a round. Thus far in the UFC, that trend has mostly held true—Jose Medina was tough enough that Reese had to keep up the beating for three rounds—but the results have been much more mixed. He has found his usual quick finishes at points, but his willingness to stay aggressive and dive for submissions has gotten him knocked out via slam against Cody Brundage and ground-and-pound by Azamat Bekoev. Even so, it will be a surprise if Reese changes his ways, particularly in what seems like a winnable matchup against Todorovic.

Serbia’s Todorovic had some decent wins on the regional scene and impressed in his 2019 win on the Contender Series, showing some potential as a bullying clinch fighter who could find the occasional knockout. However, his UFC career has been rough, with Todorovic rarely standing out as a physical force while also proving he doesn’t have the requisite level of durability to hang against stronger opposition, getting knocked out brutally at various points over the last few years. Reese could certainly implode and hand Todorovic the win given the flammable nature of the American’s game, but it seems likelier than not that he can find a finish before things start to go south. The pick is Reese via first-round knockout.
